Foreign Engagements

Everyday I am in a foreign engagement.
My General, My Teacher,
Puts me through continuous enslavement.
Us Students, Us Privates,
Are supposedly the best of the best.
Our Abilities, Our Knowledge,
Do not compare with the rest.

Each day we tread through oppressive training.
My General, My Teacher,
Makes us suffer through irksome ascertaining.
Us Students, Us Privates,
Spit out alien text like bullets from an AK-47.
Our Abilities, Our Knowledge,
Are used for aimless actions without seventh heaven.

All day we feel like the walking undead.
My General, My Teacher,
Declares we are Honors students but treats us like SPEDs.
Us Students, Us Privates,
Learn nothing from such monotonous classes.
Our Abilities, Our Knowledge,
Are wasted as us soldiers become useless asses.

At the end of each day I am relieved from this nightmare.
My General, My Teacher,
Bears horrific cold features that raise my hair.
Us Students, Us Privates,
Lack opinions when ruled by this senile slaveholder.
Our Abilities, Our Knowledge,
Are the only fading remnants that I am still a soldier.
