Contagion

I can't change who I am
So I'm sitting at your side with apathy
Fulfilling the prophecy that was meant for me
Quit telling me to be who I'm not
Cause I'm perfectly fine with what I've got
Because of you I've been deceived
Tongue-tied against all that I believe
I'll fight you till the bitter end
Stabbed in the back by my only friend
Spewing from your mouth, your poisonous lies
Now I know 'tis a good day to die
