Stella Z. New and OldMom Dad Me - Hands hold me tight Arms hold me close
Summer sounds ring in my ear Livi melodiously swings Nika's laughter makes waves in the pool Too big for my little self.
Kisses from dad Bristles of prickly hair brush against my head Back rubs from mom Too soothing to stay awake
Those summer sounds ring in my ear But Livi always has something to do Having fun with people her own age And Nika, she laughs far away now.
Kisses from dad - Never seem to come as often Backrubs from mom - Not long enough to fall asleep
Separate lives Serparate houses
But still Those hands hold me tight And the arms hold me close
