What I'm From

I am from the streets of South Medford.
From the two family house near Italo's Bakery.
From the freezing LoConte hockey rink,
and from the historic Medford square.

I am from my old friends Jamie, Jimmy, and Joe.
From my Grandmother.
From my Aunt Anna and Uncle Phil,
and from my mom and my dad and my brother and sister.

I am from pasta on Sundays at my Grandmother's house.
From the old computer in the living room.
From the ripped brown and green couch,
and from 4th of July parties in the driveway.
