A Table of Only Four

Oh! This seat is not for me?
It looked as though it wasn’t taken.
I just wanted to rest my feet,
I did not mean to sit mistaken.

I see.  I see.
Not my place to be.
I’ll find another, just for me.

I know the table seats only four,
However, I am just one more…

Fine.
I’m leaving. I’m leaving.

Before I stand, before I go -
Remember that day long ago
When you were in need.
I was there, ready to share,
Offering you a friendly chair.

That day I helped you.
You’ve not helped me,
So from now on,
Do your own Geometry.
