You Are I and I Am You

In stormy, raven nights
Sudden lightenings and thunders
Pierce my fragile heart with swords of fear.

My cries are swallowed up in the raging storm.
You must stay by my side,
To dry up the storm in me.

Just as how you have done so far.
With your healing presence,
With your tender voice,

Come, lie beside me,
Say my name like a spell and
Lead me out of the gruesome night.

At times when our bodies are far apart
Pieces of you will still be in parts of me
So that our hearts will still be together.

No matter where you are, no matter where I am,
Only because you are I and I am you,
I am no longer afraid of starless nights of storms.
