The Timekeeper

Tick tock,
Goes the crazy clock
Red, black, and white,
All around in a circle.
Slowly moving
The time anticipating
The sound that will alarm itself

Circling 360°
Passing by every number up to twelve,
The clock being repetitious.
If you need more or less time
The clock cannot be pushed.
We want time to stop, and
It moves faster.

How can a clock,
Something so small and indefinite,
Matter so much?
That is for the clock to know.
